Council note sets out next step for chemical-products simplification regulation

The Council’s preparatory note asks the Permanent Representatives Committee to confirm agreement and recommends that the Council approve Parliament’s first-reading position at a forthcoming meeting. If approved, the regulation simplifying certain requirements and procedures for chemical products would be adopted; Belgium would abstain and Denmark would vote against.
